BIOGRAPHY
Saša Bogojev is a former contributing editor/European correspondent at Juxtapoz magazine. Born in Croatia and currently living in The Netherlands, over the years he has contributed to various international publications and media outlets, collaborated with artists on monographs/books/catalogs, and has curated a number of gallery shows worldwide. @sashabogojev / Bogojev.com
Since 2016 Bogojev started curating and co-curating gallery exhibitions worldwide, including 8th Ply, The Garage, Amsterdam (2020); Universes 3, WOAW Gallery, Hong Kong (2020); Melancholympics, The Wunderwall, Antwerp, Belgium (2020); ME, High Line Nine, New York (2020); The Flats, Tales of Arte, Imola, Italy (2019); The Distance Between, BC Gallery, Berlin (2019); New Classics, Galerie C.O.A., Montreal (2019); High on Stress, Amala Gallery, Tokyo (2017); Happier Together, Amala Gallery, Tokyo (2017) among many others.
PAST EXHIBITIONS
Volery Gallery presents Domesticity group exhibition, curated by Sasha Bogojev Curator and Contributing Editor at Juxtapoz Magazine. The inaugural exhibition presents a selection of all-new, previously unseen, original works by 17 international artists. The presentation revolves around the exploration of interior spaces as the fated environment for mankind and will feature works by Ojo Ayotunde; Ana Barriga; Pablo Benzo; Matt Bollinger; Deborah Brown; Mathieu Cherkit; Modou Dieng; Daniel Heidkamp; Yuichi Hirako; Jordy Kerwick; Sally Kindberg; Andrés Lozano; Alexis Ralaivao; Andy Rementer; Fabian Treiber; Ivana De Vivanco and Guy Yanai.
