BIOGRAPHY

RYOL is a visual artist, his paintings reflect his dissatisfaction with reality in comparison to the world he has imagined as a kid watching childhood’s cartoon series. His pop surrealist artworks are skilfully done, illustrating issues in a partriarchic society, social behaviours  and the fluidity of modern day gender and gender roles.

He has participated in several exhibitions internationally.

RYOL graduated from Institut Seni Indonesia in Yogyakarta.

The group exhibition is curated by Jean Claude Geraud, the founder of City of Talents, Toulouse, a contemporary and urban art agency.
