BIOGRAPHY

Lotta is a self-taught painter who started her career in 2017 in Tokyo. She began by focusing on ink paintings, but has since transitioned to line drawings and acrylic paintings. In 2020, she created her original character, "Socks," a ghost cat. Socks has become a recurring figure in Lotta's work, representing the stories in her head and sometimes serving as a self-portrait.

Lotta's work is influenced by Western cartoons and Japanese animation from her childhood. This has given her work a nostalgic feel that many people can relate to. Lotta is also fascinated by the idea of sound, and this is reflected in her work. The creatures and still lifes she paints are captured in the moment, giving the viewer a sense of realism that is almost audible. The characters in her work are drawn with delicate lines that dance across the canvas, inviting the viewer to imagine the scene beyond the frame.

Lotta's work is characterized by a satisfying coexistence of smooth, matte textures and playful curves. The contrast between these elements is highly addictive, and it is one of the things that makes her work so unique.

In addition to painting, Lotta is also involved in a variety of other creative projects, including tattoo design, apparel collaborations, and live painting. Her sense of design and her spontaneous impulsiveness are evident in all of her work, and they help to make her work stand out from the crowd.

Lotta is a talented artist who is constantly evolving and pushing the boundaries of her medium. Her work is sure to continue to delight and inspire viewers for years to come.
